Done in the French Napoleon III style … Read more A beautiful pair of early 20th century, red and gold toleware Monteith cachepots. Done in the French Napoleon III style these beautiful planters have handpainted gilt musical instruments on both sides. They feature brass lions head ring handles and lovely gold scalloped rim. They are signed “Made in France” on the bottom. They measure 4 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter, and they are in excellent condition. Only two minor scratches as shown in the photos. See less
