Fabulous Vintage handmade bolster pillow. The yarn is wool & as shown in the photos, there are a few worn areas. However, the pillow is just fabulous, bright & cherry and entirely handmade. There isn't any zipper, so we don't know what the filler is but suspect a down combo. Pink velvet at each end is in great shape. The knitted fabric (c1930) is much older than when it was made into a pillow. The design is so creative & the colors are spectacular.

The woven fabric probably dates to early 20th century & may have been part of something much larger. The actual pillow was probably made 20 - 30 years ago. The velvet ends are in perfect condition. They are a few worn areas in the wool diamond pattern, but the pattern is so bright & busy that the worn areas are camouflaged. This is a fabulous bolster pillow. less
