Painter. Born in 1808 and died in 1893 in Lyon. A student at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, collaborator of Fonville (1839-1843), he completed his training in Paris. Exhibited at the Lyon and Paris salons between 1845 and 1890. Active in Lyon and Paris.
