The seat and back cushions are made of genuine leather, are in perfect condition and have a beautiful patina. The back and sides, as well as the armrests, are finished in black faux leather, typical of the period. The armrests show a light patina. The chair stands on dark brown wooden legs and offers comfortable seating.

Danish designer Gustav Thams created many designs for his own company. Thams Kvalitet was one of Denmark's leading manufacturers in the 1970s and, in addition to leather armchairs, specialized primarily in teak furniture.
