It was important to me to offer a version in natural beech; natural wood is simply beautiful, high-quality, authentic, and modern. And at the same time, it brings us peace, as it's one of the few natural materials you can have in your living room. Resting on the delicate feet is a thick cover with special quilting, a quilted upholstery with a square pattern and interrupted seams. Alternately held by the stitches and released again, the fabric billows out in places, giving it its special look and its name ruché (ruffle = a gathered or pleated fabric sewn onto a garment). These peaks and valleys of the cover create varied light reflections, and the shadows vary depending on the fabric.
