Superb and unusual French antique. A blue opaline compotiere fruit dish and table centre piece. The glass has a shell-like form and is set atop an ivy leaf metal decorated pedestal with a black marble base.
It is dated around the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th.
There is a tiny, almost imperceptible, chip on the rim.
