The artist renders the berry in brilliant polished gold, its surface dimpled all over with the tiny seed-pits of real fruit, while the leafy crown and stem twist back in a darker, brushed tone above. Tilted slightly on its base as if just set down, the piece turns a small, everyday fruit into something jewel-like and luminous — precise in detail and quietly luxurious.

Cast in bronze using the lost-wax method and mounted on an integrated round bronze base. Signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. A hand-cast, limited piece rather than a stock object.
