This set of 4 was fabricated at the same time for the Harkness Mansion. Set of 4 Slipper Side Chairs upholstered in a most Rare and Exotic Lustrous Aubergine Authentic Woven Horsehair Fabric with an accent of Leather trim-inset on the back arch, trimming the skirt panels, front, sides, and back, with leather tassels on the back skirt. If you have never seen horsehair fabric it is a most Breathtaking and Exotic high sheen Woven finish. The chairs mix with any style decor creating a very chic ambiance. Provenance-assembled from our family's Maryland estate, The Edith Hale Harkness estate.
