A twisted ribbon of black glass loops and rises from a solid clear base. Fine white canes run the length of the ribbon and turn with it — filigrana, the Venetian technique of embedding drawn white rods in the glass before it is worked, so the lines follow every twist of the form instead of sitting on its surface.

Unsigned. Sold as Murano glass without attribution to a specific furnace or artist.
