A single spiral of emerald green glass turns up out of a solid clear base, coiling tight at the foot and drawing out into a long upper curve. The colour sits in the body of the glass rather than on its surface, so it reads as depth through the coil and lightens where the form thins.

Unsigned, as most Venetian export glass of the period was. Sold as Murano glass without attribution to a specific furnace.
