The Razorblade takes its name from the sinuously carved backrest slats — two broad oak panels shaped in a continuous wave profile with a characteristic negative-space cutout between them — a design detail of remarkable sculptural originality that sits at the precise intersection of mid-century modernism and the raw material boldness of Danish Brutalism. The wide, flat arms in solid quarter-sawn oak and the plain H-form stretcher base underline the chair's fundamentally architectural character: this is a piece that commands space.
