This expressive, handcrafted Sommerso Murano block vase was made in the Alessandro Manddruzzato workshop in the 1960s.
It captivates with its precise, architectural form and the richly colored interior, which appears to float within the transparent glass. The warm, dark violet and yellow tones create an impressive optical depth, while the solid clear glass refracts and focuses the light.
Slight inclusions in the glass are typical characteristics of artisanal Murano glassmaking and underscore the piece's authenticity. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
