The manufacturer is unknown. The chairs were likely produced in the 1970s and come from the estate of a prominent German architect and chair collector.
The avant-garde Wassily Chair was designed in the mid-1920s by Marcel Breuer and is now a significant example of Bauhaus design. Initially produced under license by Gavina, and later by Knoll after their acquisition. This piece is designed in the style of the selected designer and/or manufacturer
