The near-square footprint is stable and unhurried in character; the Yakisugi-charred surface and integrated cork give it a texture that stands apart from conventional furniture — the object reads as something discovered rather than designed.

Each Erosion piece draws on material already shaped by time — reclaimed wood, leftover limestone, cork. Yakisugi charring works the surface before natural oils and beeswax are applied. Carving works along grain and imperfection, following rather than overriding what the material already holds.

The marks of making remain visible throughout: scorched, worked, sealed — a texture that is simultaneously deliberate and worn. Where materials meet, their boundary softens. Each piece takes light in its own way.
