Monumental hand-carved Vietnamese wooden dragon sculpture depicting the traditional “Nhất Long Vờn Ngọc” motif, or single dragon playing with a pearl. Richly symbolic, the dragon represents power, authority, protection, and prosperity, while the pearl is associated with wisdom, spiritual energy, and abundance.
The sculpture is intricately carved with a dynamic coiling dragon rising through swirling waves, its body wrapped around a large central pearl. Fine details include individually carved scales, flame-like whiskers, expressive facial features, curling claws, and deeply carved wave forms.
