A beautifully coordinated 11-piece vintage Chinese Export Famille Rose porcelain tea and hosting set, richly decorated with hand-painted floral enamels, figural scenes, iron-red accents, and delicate gilt detailing. The vibrant pink, green, coral and gold palette gives the collection the exuberant decorative quality associated with traditional Chinese Export porcelain and makes it especially striking displayed in a china cabinet, on a bar or tea table, or incorporated into a grandmillennial interior.
The collection includes a lidded teapot, creamer, cups and coordinating covered serving pieces, all displaying complementary decoration. Several pieces feature traditional circular medallions and beautifully painted bamboo-form handles accented in gold. The undersides bear an apocryphal Kangxi-style mark, a later decorative mark rather than an indication that the pieces date to the Kangxi period. An especially attractive assembled service for the collector of Chinese Export porcelain, Famille Rose and colorful vintage tableware. Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. There are no structural cracks or major chips.There is only minor, expected light rubbing to the gold gilt rims from age and careful handling
Glaze: Beautiful glossy finish. Includes minor, normal manufacturing characteristics inherent to vintage export porcelain (such as tiny pinholes/glaze pops and minor iron spots), which add to its authentic vintage character.
