This vintage mirror with highly decorative frame serves as a piece of artwork. The painted or appliquéd border look like Old Master paintings of fruit. The outer dimension is 40.5" sq and the mirror's dimension is 19" sq. It has hung over my dining table for 30 yrs, and is like new. Thin lines you see that look like cracks across the decorative border are also painted, made to look older than the piece actually is. The surface is completely smooth to the touch.
This is a unique item. I've found none exactly like it online to compare, but there is one Italian Tuscan Style Paint Decorated Mirror on Chairish for $895, so I'll use this price for comparison.
