A complete graduated trio of porcelain vases designed by Karl and Ursula Scheid for Rosenthal Studio-Line. Known among collectors as the “Pillowcase” series, these understated forms demonstrate the designers' distinctive approach to volume, proportion, and surface, transforming simple geometric vessels into quietly expressive sculptural objects.

Each vase features softly compressed sides and rounded edges, creating the impression of a gently folded cushion. The restrained silhouettes are enhanced by a finely graduated brown glaze, transitioning from a deep espresso tone at the rim to warm earthy ochre at the base. The subtle ombré effect accentuates the contours and gives each vase remarkable depth despite its minimalist form.
