This vintage unusual and beautiful bronze and sterling silver box is by Silver Crest and all hallmarked on the bottom. It has the center medallion of a horse. It has a conical shape which is not common. It has been professionally polished in May 2026 but may patina through time. From the 50;s. On the bottom it says Silver Crest genuine bronze 2636-EE and on the inside of the lid it says Silver Crest genuine bronze #'s 52636. Silver Crest was a very established metal company that made high quality Arts and Crafts and Art Deco metal work and accessories.
This box is in size and shape with the horse motif makes a great desk accessory , dresser or console addition. For the equestrian lover and collector.
