French neoclassical-style five-light chandelier, hand-carved from wood circa 1950 and finished in an aged gold tone. The tapered central stem features carved leaf and lotus motifs, with five curved arms ending in beaded candle cups, plus a carved drop finial beneath. The gold finish shows an attractive aged patina with natural rubbing and darker tones in the carved recesses, giving it genuine vintage character. Compact in size, it suits an entryway, bedroom, dining nook, library or smaller sitting room, and pairs well with French antiques, Gustavian, Belgian minimalist or mid-century Italian interiors. Made in France, circa 1950.
