The dolphin sculpture displays detailed relief work, with finely defined scales, a pronounced dorsal fin, and a curved tail that lends dynamism to the piece. Above the figure is a decorative motif in the form of a chalice or open flower, reminiscent of shells and plant elements found in Neoclassical ornamentation.
The entire piece rests on a solid black marble cube, whose natural veining contrasts elegantly with the patinated metal, creating a visual balance between weight and lightness.
