A set of five small hand-painted wall plates by Tichelaar Makkum, the Netherlands. Each plate has a scalloped, ribbed edge and is decorated with traditional floral motifs. The set includes one blue-and-white plate and four polychrome examples with blue, green, yellow and reddish-brown details. The plates are individually marked on the back with Makkum factory marks, pattern numbers and painter’s initials. Overall condition on the set is very good, but there is one plate that has a damaged hanging hole on the back, as shown in the photos. This piece has an attribution mark,
