Sourced direct in the Czech republic, Halabala was a Czech industrial designer, writer, and educator. Halabala was a key force in the development of post war industrially produced European furniture. The chair frames are beech throughout and the extraordinary one piece bentwood beech arms have been cleaned and waxed but retain their original character. We carefully select very original armchairs ensuring the fabrics and upholstery are in as best condition as possible. The upholstery is completely original and has been deep steam cleaned by our workshop team. Seat Height 38cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
