Antique Buffalo Pottery Blue Willow Oatmeal Berry Bowl - Semi-Vitreous
Made in USA 1917.
Approx. 3” High x 5 ⅜” Diameter x 5 ⅜” Depth
Beautiful, authentic antique blue and white transferware deep bowl in the iconic Blue Willow pattern, manufactured by Buffalo Pottery in Buffalo, New York. Heavy, durable Semi-Vitreous earthenware / ironstone.
Features the ornate Blue Willow motif wrapping around the exterior, a detailed continuous geometric border tracing the inner rim, and a crisp central vignette displaying a traditional sampan boat and pagoda at the bottom of the well. The ink transfer is dark, vibrant, and incredibly clear.
Crisp, fully legible blue underglaze back stamp with the signature American Bison/Buffalo logo.
Perfect size for oatmeal, cereal, or fruit/berries.
Excellent antique condition with superb coloration and smooth glazing. No major cracks, crazing, or internal staining. There is a single minor flea-bite chip along the lower foot ring rim (pictured), which does not impact stability or display aesthetics. Normal wear from use and age.
