The mosaic technique gives the surface a fractured, jewel-like texture quite different from traditional blown crackle glass — each tessera adhered by hand over the vessel's form. Tall and dramatic at 15.75" high, flaring from a 4.75" footed base to a nearly 6" opening, it makes a strong statement empty or filled with a single dramatic stem. This is a decorative piece rather than a period antique, and it's in excellent condition with no chips or losses to the glass tiles. See less
