Handed down through generations as a treasured family heirloom, this architectural entry piece beautifully combines early-1900s sculptural presence with versatile everyday utility.

Exceptional Wood & Carving Details: The piece stands approximately 6 feet tall and features beautiful, deep Victorian-style relief carvings wrapping prominently around the upper crown and framing the central mirror. Built from tight, high-density antique solid Tiger Oak, the wood features gorgeous, prominent natural stripes and figuring throughout the grain. The wood is exceptionally heavy and responds with a distinct, high-pitched resonance when knocked—confirming its dense, premium solid-hardwood construction.

Premium Hardware Accents: Flanking the large central mirror are three original, heavy-gauge two-pronged Victorian brass hooks featuring intricate period embellishments. The brass retains a warm, brilliant gold luster that is easily polished if a higher shine is preferred.

Storage Bench Base: The lower section features an integrated lift-top storage seat box flanked by elegantly curved armrests, resting on clean, sturdy block legs that sit flush with the floor.

Mirror Condition: The centerpiece features its original tall silvered-glass mirror panel. The main body of the mirror glass remains remarkably clean and very clear for its age, while the upper left corner shows beautiful, localized antique silvering distress ("mercury aging") that highlights its authentic period character.

Condition:Very good antique condition consistent with its turn-of-the-century heritage. The solid structure is completely stable and structurally sound. The storage bench lid operates. The Tiger Oak finish is beautifully preserved, exhibiting honest historical patina that highlights its age, including a faint, faint circular ring on the seat surface and a minor, barely noticeable chipping near the junction where the curved arm meets the mirror frame.
