The work personifies the contemporary art world as an elegant but distant winged figure—self-possessed, mannered, inaccessible, and unable to see beyond the boundaries of her own constructed identity.

Her opaque, sightless eyes and averted expression contrast with the beauty and implied authority of the white wing. Abstract passages of muted gold, rust, blue, violet, and black interrupt the portrait, creating a visual tension between refinement and emotional detachment.
