A bold statement piece for any design-conscious home — the Spiral Fruit Bowl by Jacob Borch for Excel Denmark is a playful, confident example of 1990s postmodern Scandinavian design: geometric yet fluid, functional yet sculptural.
The Spiral Fruit Bowl reflects the postmodern movement's departure from the strict functionalism of earlier Scandinavian design — here, form is as important as function, and the bowl celebrates that openly. Jacob Borch's spiral construction gives the piece an energy that makes it as compelling empty as it is filled with fruit. On a coffee table, sideboard, kitchen counter, or dining surface, it acts as a sculptural centrepiece that invites a second look. This piece has an attribution mark,
