Beautiful Pair of Vintage Carved Wood Velvet Armchairs
A striking pair of large, substantial vintage armchairs featuring richly carved dark wood, ornate detailing, barley-twist legs and stretchers, brass nailhead trim, and deep navy blue velvet upholstery.
The chairs have an impressive, substantial presence and showcase beautiful carved wood details throughout the arms, legs, and lower stretchers. Their natural wear and patina add character and reflect their age.
The chairs are in vintage, pre-owned condition and show age-related wear, including scratches, finish loss, and wear to the wood and upholstery.
Please note: One chair requires restoration/repair to the seat suspension, as a spring underneath the seat has become detached. We intentionally chose not to attempt the repair or restoration ourselves in order to avoid altering or damaging the original construction. The chairs are being offered in their current condition, allowing the new owner or a professional restorer to preserve and restore them appropriately.
