A Chippendale style queen size 4 poster bed by Dixie Furniture. Mahogany with carved pediment top to headboard & center finial, four fluted & turned posts with finials, brass hardware, metal clip held side rails, and three wood slats for providing mattress support. Side rails can be alternatively attached for full size. Made in the USA, in the late 20th Century. Model 549-170. Note: bedding, mattress and box springs in NOT included.

Style #: 549-621 . 2 available: one in pristine condition, the other one in excellent condition ( front side corner has finish veneer split) and both nightstands show Minor surface scuffs consistent with careful vintage use. Drawers function properly. Structurally sound and sturdy.
