Large original 1930's oil painting by prominent Los Angeles artist Charles J. Bensco (1894-1960) depicting a seated lady in white. The medium is oil on canvas. Signed "Chaz J. Bensco" in the lower right and dated 1931. The frame is custom by Jerry Solomon. Purchased from a descendent of the sitter. The painting had been with the family for the past nearly 100 years.
