An impressive statement piece of contemporary American studio art glass, hand-blown by a Central California glass art studio. Standing 19 inches tall with an 8-inch wide opening, this substantial footed chalice urn features a rich, organic tortoiseshell motif composed of dense amber-brown, cognac, and olive frit mottling, accented by subtle flecks of moss green and teal suspended within the glass matrix.
The vessel is crafted with a gently flared rim edged in polished dark glass, a clear glass collar neck joint, and a wide, flared pedestal base. Its tall, classic proportions make it an ideal focal point for a mantel, sideboard console, or entry table within Organic Modern, Mid-Century Modern Revival, or Grandmillennial decor schemes.
