The top opens to reveal a compartmentalized shelf, showcasing an interior designed to hold small objects within a carefully arranged interplay of volumes. Beneath this niche, a drawer is discreetly integrated, operated by a finely chased bronze pull.

The structure is supported by two columns, each adorned with delicately crafted bronze collars, which lend a stately verticality and an architectural presence typical of imperial furniture. The legs are joined by a concave plinth, which stabilizes the whole while adding a sculptural touch.
