Elegant Swedish floor lamp, model 461, produced by Örsjö during the 1960s.
The lamp combines a slender brass stem with beautifully shaped teak details and a distinctive tripod base. Its refined proportions and restrained use of materials are characteristic of Scandinavian mid-century design.
A flexible neck allows the position and angle of the light to be adjusted, making the lamp both decorative and highly functional. The sculptural pleated fabric shade creates a soft, warm light and gives the lamp a particularly graceful silhouette.
The contrast between the warm teak, aged brass and light-coloured shade gives the piece a sophisticated and timeless appearance.
