The sculpture features an elongated cylindrical body, outstretched arms, an oversized oval head, and a subtly carved face with serene features. Incised geometric decoration on the reverse of the head adds another beautiful handcrafted detail.

The dark wood has developed a rich, wonderfully worn patina with variations in tone, scratches, abrasions, and other surface wear that give the piece considerable character. The underside and reverse retain additional signs of age and use.
