Striking studio pottery vase featuring a beautifully rounded, hand-crafted form and dramatic free-form wavy rim.
The vase is decorated in an expressive abstract glaze palette of soft celadon and seafoam green, charcoal black, muted gray and subtle blush pink. Broad painterly brushstrokes sweep across the body, giving the piece an artistic, almost watercolor-like quality.
The irregular sculptural rim adds wonderful movement and emphasizes the handmade character of the vessel. A glossy glaze enhances the depth and variation of the hand-applied decoration.
