Dating to circa 1820, this magnificent Empire-style mahogany secretary with intricate intarsia began its life as an elegant writing cabinet and was later transformed into a concealed bar in Argentina by Verga Hnos.
The piece still retains the original Verga Hnos. label on the back, documenting an important chapter in its history and its Argentine transformation.
