These three glazed ceramic bowls, with their free-form shapes inspired by seashells, come in vibrant turquoise, sunny yellow, and raspberry pink, highlighted with a deep, glossy black.
The ribbed reliefs, irregular contours, and highly graphic palette place them squarely within the aesthetic of decorative ceramics from the 1950s and 60s, with the modernist and joyfully colorful spirit found particularly in Vallauris pottery from this period.
Each piece rests on a small circular foot. Two bear a signature on the base, which we were unfortunately unable to decipher.
Brought together as a trio, the three colors work particularly well and give the set a touch of 1960s Riviera charm.
They are in very good condition with two discreet chips (see photos).
