A dramatic antique Chinese Qing dynasty carved and lacquered louhan daybed, with removable paneled sides and back. The bed features a black lacquered platform frame, removable shaped side and back panels, red and gilt carved corner posts, figural lacquer scenes, scholar’s-object motifs, floral and bird panels, rattan bed, and a richly carved apron and base.
