Peter Reichenberger

Painter, draftsman, printmaker.

from 1947, the family lived in Cologne.

Trained as a printmaker.

1965-67 Military service, during which time he contributed to the "Soldatenkurier" (Soldiers' Courier).

1967-73 Studied painting at the Cologne Art Schools. He was a master student of Karl Marx. During this time, Reichenberger created his first works using fingerprints.

Reichenberger also worked as an art teacher.

from 1986, he worked as a freelance artist.

The Peter Reichenberger Foundation was established in 2006, and since then the foundation has had a permanent presentation and exhibition space at the House of Foundations in Cologne.
