Nakamura significantly shaped Swedish furniture design in the late 1970s by combining Scandinavian functionality with Japanese-inspired minimalism. The piece impresses with its gleaming, chrome-plated tubular steel frame on practical casters, giving the stool an extremely flexible and seemingly floating appearance.
