impressive and dramatic antique double-leaf driveway gate, entirely hand-wrought in solid iron. A work of historic carpentry of exceptional depth and craftsmanship, ideal for adding prestige to the entrances of country estates, historic parks, farmhouses, or elegant period villas.

architectural details and workmanship:
wavy arch crown with leaf-shaped spears: the upper section features an elegant curved profile shaped like a double wave, culminating in a sequence of finely shaped spearheads shaped like leaves (or lilies) with a decorative knot at the base.

upper curly frieze: a refined upper-register motif runs along the arch, enriched with curlicue elements forged in "c" and "s" shapes.

central band with vegetal interlacing: the middle register is embellished with a wide decorative band featuring opposing scrolls and branched swirls, which break up the verticality of the solid bars and lend harmony to the structure.

base with hoops and scrolls: the lower section is reinforced by a double finishing register with small rings and curlicue motifs that provide visual solidity and structural stability.
