Listed as design 100.1 in the historical green catalogue (plate 1), this particular example was produced in 1989.
the vase is executed using the traditional incalmo technique, joining a rich brown upper section with a subtle sand-grey body in a clean, elegant silhouette. The base is signed and dated "venini 89". A fine and representative example of late 20th-century murano glass design.
