This magnificent piece is intricately carved all over with the traditional "Hundred Blessings" motif, featuring over a hundred different stylized calligraphic variations of the Chinese character "Fu", which represents good fortune, happiness, and blessings.
The deep relief carvings cover the lid and all sides, creating a rich, tactile texture. The front is centered with a heavy, polished circular brass lock plate, adding a touch of antique elegance.
