The design incorporates highly stylized exotic birds surrounded by dense scrolling foliage, flowers, leaves, and botanical forms. A wide coordinating floral border surrounds the central field, with larger floral medallions accenting the corners. The limited navy-and-ivory palette gives the piece a particularly striking graphic quality.

The scarf is signed “TIDI” within the navy border.
