Bach for the Danish furniture manufacturer Sejling Skabe during the 1960s. The piece is an excellent example of Danish Mid-Century Modern design, combining an elegant, minimalist form with outstanding functionality and high-quality craftsmanship.

The highboard is crafted from rosewood, with its distinctive and expressive natural grain forming one of the defining features of the piece. Particular attention is drawn to the subtly sculpted wooden handles, harmoniously integrated into the fronts and emphasizing the minimalist character of the design. The clean-lined cabinet is raised on a slender base, giving the piece a sense of visual lightness and elegant proportions.

The highboard offers generous and varied storage space. The lower section features three wide drawers, while the upper section is enclosed by three sliding doors. Behind them are shelves, a bar compartment, and two small internal drawers. This thoughtfully designed interior makes the piece suitable for storing tableware, glassware, and other items, while also allowing it to function as a practical home bar.

The highboard has undergone comprehensive woodworking restoration. The wooden elements were stripped of the old coating, stained in a rosewood colour, and finished with high-quality Danish oil, which protects the surface while enhancing the rich colour and striking natural grain of the rosewood.
