It features three hand-stitched panels rendered in an unusually restrained ivory and cream palette, defined by a delicate taupe pinstripe grid and an asymmetrical central accent block of dense chocolate brown stripes.

Among the most celebrated regional flatweaves of Anatolia, mid-century Turkish panel kilims are admired for their spatial ingenuity, quiet graphic elegance, and deeply authentic folk art heritage. Woven primarily by village women across central and western Turkey, these flatweaves depart from formal urban workshop carpets in favor of spontaneous, highly practical domestic weaving. Because traditional Anatolian looms were limited in width to fit household quarters, weavers produced long, narrow flatweave strips or parça using natural, un-dyed sheep's wool.
