his compact square hardwood storage box is decorated with vibrant hand-set mother-of-pearl shell inlay on the lid. A graceful phoenix perches beside large blooming chrysanthemum flowers and lotus foliage, rendered in multi-tonal pearlescent shell.
Crafted from dark hardwood with a fine textured grain, the box features a classic circular brass latch at the front.
Its neat square footprint makes it ideal for vanity tops, dressers, bookshelves or console styling. Use it to store jewelry, trinkets, stamps, seals and small keepsakes.
A lovely small statement piece for Chinoiserie, traditional Asian and eclectic interiors.
