Mid-20th-century studio-hand painted porcelain plates. The design features a charming hand-painted folk-art style honeybee centered within a border of delicate gold leaves. The reverse sides feature the original factory "Bavaria." stamp alongside impressed incised mold numbers ("1 1") directly from the original German foundry. Each plate is signed on the reverse with the artist mark "Lu...". Perfect size for coasters, butter pats, individual dipping sauces, or elegant jewelry trinket dishes. They are in very good vintage condition with bright, well-preserved gold paint and no chips or cracks.
