The piece features a … Read more A charming single-door lacquered wood bonnetière or storage cabinet crafted in a Country French Provincial style. The piece features a crown molded and gadrooned cornice above a single door crafted with carved raised panels. The door is fitted with a turned wooden knob and opens to reveal an interior fitted with three wooden shelves. The cabinet sits atop a molded and carved plinth base supported by rounded bun feet. The cabinet is crafted in a rustic country French Provincial style and is well suited for use in an entry, bath, bedroom, pantry, or as a bookcase. The cabinet has a label attached to the back reading "Country Corner, Produit Importé". The cabinet has solid joinery and construction with an intentionally aged patina on the washed white lacquer finish to mimic age. The clean paneled design is also influenced by French Louis XVI neoclassical style. From an estate in the Napa Valley, CA.
